This is the first page people go to after the home page.  And it’s the one they spent the longest time on.

 

Yes, you guessed it.

 

Because it has a story.  We all love stories because they’re memorable.  And I bet your perception of me will change after you’ve read this.

 

Good or bad? I’ll let you be the judge.

I’m Amir Nviri.  For 14 years, I was planning and designing UK roads.

 

And just like Case Studies, everything had to be explained in a story.  From a problem, to why a solution was picked and the results.

 

One of the things I used to do every year was analysing accident data.  And suggesting changes to make roads safe.

 

Improvements were meant to reduce accidents.  But in most cases they didn’t go down as much.

 

“Modern cars are safe and getting safer” I said. “But what about drivers? Are they the ones to blame?”

Curiosity drove me to train to become a Driving Instructor.

And at first, all I wanted was to understand how drivers where trained.

 

But to my surprise, I enjoyed it so much, it became a job.

 

And the more I taught, the more I understood people and what made them tick. Thousands and thousands of teaching hours later, I can now.…

Pay attention to the smallest of details.

I can write and talk in plain English

I can listen to understand

I can ask questions to get the right information out of people.

I can get people to see a different point of view

Fast-forward to today, I’m now a Copywriter writing Case Studies.

But why Case Studies?

I used to write emails and landing pages. But when I learned about Case Studies my world changed.

 

There’s no single piece of marketing copy more powerful than a Case Study. None.

 

I’ve seen people make 5 figure investments all on the back of reading a 3 page Case Study.  No ads. No email sequences. No testimonials and no sales letter.

 

Just one complete customer success story. And…

These stories work so well for 3 reasons:

  1. They rely on a happy customer to do the selling for you. In a written story with all the relevant facts and figures.

 

  1. They allows a prospect to see themselves in the Case Study story. And if they feel a connection they will buy.

 

  1. Prospects can see where they are and where they need to be. But more importantly, they know that they will also get results.

 

And if a Case Study is from a company that they know and look up to, they will just ask for the price and buy.
